Privacy

This is written in plain English rather than legal language, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not a privacy policy. If you need something more formal for a compliance process, email hello@onetimetool.com and I will help.

What I collect

• The file you upload. Processed to make your result, deleted within 7 days. See Security and your data for the detail.
• Your email address, only if you pay. It comes from the checkout so I can send you the file and handle a refund if you want one.
• Basic, anonymous traffic counts. Which pages get visited and how many uploads each tool gets. No cookies for this, no cross-site tracking, no advertising network, no profile of you.

What I do not collect

• No accounts, so no passwords.
• No card details — those go straight to Dodo Payments or PayPal and never touch this site.
• No third-party advertising or analytics scripts that follow you around the internet.
• No mailing list. Paying for a file does not sign you up to anything.

Who else sees anything

The payment processor (Dodo Payments or PayPal) handles your payment and holds the billing details that go with it, under their own policy. The hosting provider serves the pages. Nobody else. I do not sell, share, rent or trade anything, and there is no arrangement under which I could.

Your rights over your data

Email hello@onetimetool.com and ask. You can have anything deleted immediately rather than waiting for the scheduled deletion, and you can ask what I hold. Since there are no accounts, in most cases the answer is already “nothing”.

Children

This site is not intended for children and is not marketed to them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change goes live here and the date below updates. There is no mailing list to notify, which is rather the point.
