How it works

WhatsApp will only hand you a ZIP full of loose files. Getting that ZIP out of the app is the part most people get stuck on, so that is step one.

Step 1

Export from WhatsApp

Open the chat, tap the contact or group name, scroll down and tap Export Chat. Choose Attach Media if you want the photos in the PDF, or Without Media if the chat is very long. Send it to yourself.

Step 2

Drop the file in

Upload the ZIP exactly as WhatsApp sent it. Do not unzip it first. You will see the participants, the message count and the real formatting straight away, for free.

Step 3

Check it, then pay

If the names, dates and layout look right, pay once and download the full PDF. If something looks wrong, close the tab and nothing is charged.

Questions

Do I have to make an account?
No. There is no sign-up on this site at all. You upload, you look, you pay if you want the file.
What happens to my chat after this?
Your upload, the extracted media and the finished PDF are all deleted within 7 days, automatically. I do not read them and they are not used for anything else.
Will the photos be in the PDF?
Yes, if you chose Attach Media when exporting. If you exported without media, the messages will note where a photo was but the image itself was never in the file WhatsApp gave you.
My export is bigger than 150 MB.
Export again and choose Without Media — that usually drops a multi-gigabyte chat to a few megabytes. If you need the photos and the file is genuinely huge, email me and I will run it by hand.
Can I use this for court?
People do. The PDF preserves sender names, timestamps and message order, which is what makes a transcript useful rather than a pile of screenshots. Whether it is admissible depends entirely on your jurisdiction and your case, and I am not able to advise you on that.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Both. The export format differs slightly between them and between languages, and the parser handles the common variants. If yours comes out wrong, tell me what phone and language and I will fix it.
