You pay once, for the job in front of you. There is no subscription, no plan, no account and nothing that renews.
How it works
- Every tool shows its starting price on its own page, before you upload anything.
- You upload and see a free preview of your real result. No card required to get that far.
- If it looks right, you pay once and download the file. If it does not, you close the tab and you have paid nothing.
- Prices scale with the size of the job (a short chat costs less than a five-year one), and the exact price for your file is shown on the preview, before payment, not estimated.
What costs extra, and what does not
Some tools offer extras. The rule for whether one costs money is simple, and it is the same rule every time: if changing it costs nothing extra to run, it is free.
So on a chat transcript, choosing the style, choosing whose messages sit on the right, leaving out the system notices, turning off the date dividers, all of that is free and will stay free. It is layout. It takes the same half second to render either way, and charging for a checkbox that flips a colour would be taking money for nothing.
Two things do cost extra, because two things actually happen:
- Including the photos. Every image has to be read out of your export, embedded, and rendered. It makes a far bigger file and a much longer job.
- Transcribing the voice notes. That is speech-to-text, and it spends roughly a minute of processing for every two minutes of audio. It runs on our own server rather than at a speech company, because a voice note is usually the most private thing in an export.
You are only offered an extra if your own file can use it. If your export has no voice notes you will never see a voice note upsell, and the price you are shown always has the count in it, so you can see exactly what you are paying for before you decide.
Why not a subscription
Because most of these are things you do once. Printing one conversation for a hearing is not a monthly habit. Making a funeral programme is, with luck, a once-in-a-decade job. Charging $10 a month forever for that would be a worse deal for you, and we would rather not build a business that depends on people forgetting to cancel.
If you genuinely do need a tool here repeatedly, email us and we will work out something cheaper than paying per job.
Payment
Checkout is hosted by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for every sale. Card details go to them and never touch this site. Prices on this site are listed in US dollars. Depending on where you are, checkout may show the price in your local currency and add VAT or sales tax as your country requires, and you will see the final amount before you confirm. If you pay in a different currency from your card's, your bank may also apply its own conversion.
